Windows Headphones Not Working

We all know windows forced updates are a pain and can often cause problems.

One big issue i came across was the problem of no sound from headphones. Windows tells you that "a device" has been plugged in but there is no sound output.

I discovered this issue because i had the same problem. After searching online and reading about driver updates etc i just started clicking :)

The Solution

To get sound via headphones on windows 10 is easy. 

1 : Plug in your headphones.

2: Play something with media player. (set the volume pretty low)

3 : Right click the speaker symbol on your taskbar.

4 : Select "Spatial sound (Windows Sonic For Headphones)"

5 : Turn on

6 : Enjoy music through your headphones.

I'm not sure why all this is needed but it worked for me.
